About the Photographer/Woodworker

Lloyd Levy has been working in wood since 1976. Entirely self-taught, he has developed a fine array of both reproduction and original-design furniture. A member of the Bay Area Woodworking Association, Lloyd is respected as a specialist in fine finishes and elegant clean design.

With Lloyd’s additional interest in classical music, he has also developed a furniture series that includes ebony tuning pegs from stringed instruments such as violas to serve as handles for drawers and doors on his furniture and other projects.
